The poultry industry is under pressure from the rising cost of imported feed ingredients. In order for to be profitable and sustainable, it has reduce production by using locally available feedstuff. A study was carried out evaluate preference broiler chicken cassava root chip, three diets made mixing different proportion in percentage chip ground Moringa leaf (90:10, 80:20, 70:30) compare commercial starter diet. These were offered as free choice five 20-days old chicken, one at a time over period days. criteria assessed (i) visiting frequency each diet station, (ii) spent (iii) amount treatment consumed. hypothesis that preferred food will visited more often; spend longer feeding on therefore consume more.
